Wide of street scene STORYLINE Serbians in Belgrade and Kosovo Serbs in Gracanica reacted on Sunday to the collapse of Serbia's government. Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica announced the fall of his Cabinet on Saturday, saying that because the government was not united, it could not function. In Belgrade on Sunday morning, AP Television pictures showed newspaper headlines proclaiming the fall of the Serbian government. However, some local Serbs appeared divided on whether they believed the fall of the government and the proposed elections would change the political landscape. "Nothing can be changed. Everything will stay the same. We should pull their names from a hat," said one man. "I expect Kostunica to win the next elections. This wasn't the best solution," said another. "I think they should have formed the minority government. That would have been the best option because now is a critical time when we have to fight for Kosovo," he added. Kostunica's government collapsed on Saturday over an impasse between the nationalist prime minister and the pro-Western president on how Kosovo's independence affects the Balkan country's pursuit of European Union (EU) membership.
