“Correct Islamic Method of Talaq and Iddah (According to Shariah)” In Islam, Talaq (divorce) and Iddah (waiting period) have a clear, disciplined, and just procedure designed to protect the rights of both husband and wife and to allow space for reconciliation. The correct method of Talaq (Talaq-e-Sunnah) is that the husband gives one clear divorce during a period of purity (tuhr) in which no marital relations have occurred. After this single Talaq, the wife begins her Iddah. Iddah is the mandatory waiting period a woman observes after divorce or the death of her husband. For a divorced woman, Iddah is three menstrual cycles, and if she does not menstruate, it is three lunar months. If the woman is pregnant, her Iddah lasts until childbirth. During the Iddah of a revocable divorce (Talaq-e-Raj‘i), the husband has the right to reconcile (Ruju‘) without a new Nikah. If the Iddah ends without reconciliation, the divorce becomes final. Islam strictly discourages triple Talaq in one sitting, as it goes against the Sunnah method. The Islamic system emphasizes patience, justice, reconciliation, and protection of family structure. ⸻ Keywords talaq in islam, correct method of talaq, islamic divorce procedure, talaq e sunnah, talaq e rajai, revocable divorce islam, iddah in islam, iddah after divorce, waiting period in islam, ruju in islam, reconciliation in islam, divorce and iddah rules, islamic family law, talaq during tuhr, iddah for pregnant woman, iddah three menstrual cycles ⸻ Hashtags: #TalaqInIslam #IslamicDivorce #CorrectTalaqMethod #TalaqESunnah #IddahInIslam #IslamicLaw #ShariahGuidance #MarriageInIslam #DivorceRules #FamilyLawIslam #RujuInIslam #WaitingPeriod #IslamicTeachings
