BAStival: People's Primary School 2021

BAStival is a festival that provides sports, team building, and fun activities for children in Windhoek's primary schools. The activities are held at the school on a Friday (the date is chosen by the school) from the morning until the afternoon. On weekends, BAS hosts BAStival activities at the Katutura (Youth Complex) to keep learners away from the streets and the negative environment, by creating inexpensive and cost-effective fun activities. BAS has been in partnership with Peoples Primary School for over 11 years. There are programs that we do at the school such as life-skills and P.E basketball sessions for the school, this has given us an opportunity to host BAStival within the school as well as develop a long term relationship with schools for the benefit of the children.
