Hello Warriors! In this video, I vlog what it was like getting a SECOND fat graft done to my upper lip. For those of you that may not know, a fat graft is when fat is transferred from one area of the body to another. The first time I had the procedure done, my lips healed very asymmetrically. As the weeks went by, I grew some major dysphoria around my lips and because of this, I went back to my surgeon to see if there was anything we could do about it. He suggested a second fat graft and I decided to take his advice. This vlog shows my recovery for the first 7 days. After having both fat grafts, I have some VERY strong opinions about them and I will be uploading a video very shortly sharing my thoughts on the procedure. For now, you can at least see how the procedure was for me in case you are thinking of trying it for yourself. BUT PLEASE REMEMBER: Every single person heals differently and will have different results. This was MY experience and it does NOT mean that it will be your own as well. Thank you guys all for the support I have received and I hope that I can reciprocate that support back to the cleft community as well as to other communities of warriors. As you already know, I do this so that others who are somewhat going through, or have gone through, similar experiences know that they are not alone.
