This is my version of poor man's fiberglass. Some people could use this method to make a "foamy camper" if they wanted to. I use painters tarp and two part epoxy, instead of wood glue. This will hold up well for years since I am covering this with a rubber roofing paint. Make sure to use a long cure time epoxy. It would be imposable to use any quick setup epoxy, and it really needs to soak into the fibers of the cloth. If you follow the procedure I use in the video, you will get good results. Remember to stretch the cloth with some clamps or some such way. I used a razor utility knife to trim the excess cloth. The cost of buying a new AC cover was incredibly high. Hundreds of dollars each. So since I got the epoxy for $10 for the two jugs, it was a no brainer, I had to figure a way to use that instead of expensive wood glue by the gallon. It all looks quite good from the ground. I will say that it is way stronger that the original covers. I hope this video helps someone. Good luck with your projects.
