A warm welcome awaited me at the hostel, where a kind and beautiful girl offered me a tour — a perfect start to my Astana chapter. Later, I set out to explore the majestic Hazrat Sultan Mosque, Independence Square, and nearby monuments. The peace and architectural beauty of these landmarks left me speechless. But things took a dramatic turn in the evening — the temperature dropped below zero, and my hands went completely numb. Panic took over, and I had to rush back to the hostel through the biting cold.
