Well, I guess this is goodbye... after almost 8 years of being involved in the launchpad community I feel it's time to move on. I can not even articulate how much fun I've had for all these years and all the amazing people I have become friends with because of launchpad... whether I barely spoke to you or spoke to you for years, I truly appreciate every moment and thank everyone for ever watching, commenting, subscribing or supporting me in any way, you're all truly awesome people. A little context behind this project, I have been searching for someone to make lights for this project for 5 years... I had multiple people who were gonna do it but ultimately gave up as did I, but the opportunity came and my good mate pix3l came through and finished up what I started 5 years ago! although the lights aren't the main focus in the video, he did an amazing job and I am so happy to have worked with him on a full project not just a mega collab section :) Although finishing the project wasn't the problem, I did not want to film this in my scuffed setup and I have no space to properly film anymore (hence the 2 year break since my last video) and I had a trip to New Zealand coming up and I realised that I can just film it in New Zealand and end somewhere truly scenic but NOT ONLY THAT! The purpose of the NZ trip was to finally meet up with one of my oldest launchpad friends LIV3. I have known him for 7-8 years and have been planning to meet for a LONG time and to finally meet him and end it with him felt like a full circle moment and like it was meant to be. (you can see him at the end of the video if you didn't actually watch it, but i'm sure you did right?) If you are wondering where this was filmed, it is at the top of a paraglider launch site in Queenstown called Ben Lomond Scenic Reserve Launch Site! I stumbled across this place after going up the Gondola in Queenstown and kept walking up through the steep forest. I did NOT expect a perfect vantage point with a fucking mountain right there in the background... absolutely unreal and literally THE place to film, 10/10 location scouting from me (I am happy I didn't have to use the footage from the end of the video because that was horrible) Aside from all that, there's not much else to say besides I hope you enjoyed the video and that's it from me... I will miss you guys.
