Internet first NON HIT WONDERS Cook & Greenaway (+ related) Blast from the past! EVERY SONG A NON HIT! SONG #1449 20-04-25 Title: Sixty One To Nine Artist: BLUE MINK Format: 7” Label: Target Records TGT 127 Year: 1977 Composer: Roger Greenaway, Ron Roker Producer: Roger Greenaway Publisher: Dick James, Roker Music Footnote: Blue Mink back in the studio for this 1977 release on the Target Record label, performing a song titled “Sixty One To Nine”. Song produced by Roger Greenaway, who composed the song with Ron Roker. Featuring Roger Cook, Madeline Bell on alternate vocal, and musical arrangements by Mike Moran and Ron Roker on keyboards. The song is all about reminiscing the sounds of the 60s, with quotes of many artists and songs written within the lyrics. I’ve enhanced the last 5 seconds of the song, so you can just hear Madeline perform “Lovers Of The World Unite”. Released on the flip-side of “Five Minute Wonder” via Target Records back in 1977. In total Blue Mink recorded a total of 6 new songs in the studios for the Target label with their producer Roger Greenaway. Target Records formed in October 1975, by Roger Greenaway and Harry Barter and registered at 108 Park Street, West London. Something different for a change. Instead of hearing the same hits over and over again, I have dug out 3 thousand related songs to Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway. All are NON HITS! I will be playing one song a day. It looks like I'll be finished in around 9 years time! All songs are somehow related to Cook & Greenaway. Written, Produced, Performed, Back vocal, Record label, Publishing. ENJOY! Useless information composed by John Holman. Chronology researcher for Roger Cook, Tony Hiller and Barry Mason. YouTube details. The above song and all previous songs are all uploaded to my YouTube channel saveyourkisses4me.
