The video introduces us to the storytelling of the "painted" houses in Ciocanesti (Bistrita Valley, Bucovina), probably the most beautiful village in Romania. The true story began in the 1950s when on a house, now an ethnographic museum, was embossed in color and traditional patterns. Fashion has risen rapidly throughout the village, becoming now obligatory (including for administrative, social, shopping buildings), which are admired tourists around the world. The small locallity has a special cultural life represented by three main folkloric and traditional festivals: the Trout Festival (with a great ampleness and complex development), the Easter Painted Eggs Festival and the New Year's Tradition Festival. Besides the mentioned museum there are two other great museums in the commune: the Museum of the Painted Easter Eggs (with thousands of exhibits) and the Ethnographic Museum which reproduce the life and traditional occupations of the villagers from Ciocanesti. The musical fund is made by the folk group "Floare de Colţ" (Edelweiss) from the Children and Pupils Club in Campulung Moldovenesc, instructor prof. Liviu Boşneag (personal owning recording from concert).
