This belly dance piece, set to the music "Masâr" by Le Trio Joubran, is an excerpt from the dance production, "In Lieu of Flowers." The production, based on the poem by Shawna Lemay of the same name, explores the non-linear nature of grief and acts as a ceremony of closure. 'In Lieu of Flowers' was presented as part of the Triple Bill initiative. The Nrityakosh Company is the performance house of our school.
