Une belle journée est annoncée et on se lance à l'assaut du record de Corse de parapente. C'est Timo avec un super vol, qui signe le nouveau record avec un triangle FAI de 193km. Cela difficile à battre, car la corse n'est pas beaucoup plus grande. Pour ma part, je fais un bon début de vol ou je reste au contact avant une grosse erreur en revenant de Cima I Mori. Je passe 30+ minutes bas sous le vent dans le Niolu a essayer de sortir. Une fois chose faite, je reprends mon vol. Timo a pris une belle ligne par l'est, dans la confluence. Lorsque j'arrive le ciel s'est déjà bien obscurcit et je prends par l'ouest (Migliarello, plateau de la sacallella). C'est lent et à l'ombre, mais je parviens tout de même à rejoindre le plateau du Cuscione. Puis a rentrer par le même chemin. Je signe mon reccord personnel, un beau triangle plat de 152km au dessus des plus beau sommets, du GR20 et des lacs de corse. ----- Taking off from Véro this 05/11/2024, Timo, ‪@parapentecorsenico2A‬, Franck, Stéphane and many other paragliders, members of Lucif'air and beyond. A beautiful day is forecast and we set out to beat the Corsican paragliding record. It's Timo who sets the new record with an FAI triangle of 193km. That's hard to beat, because Corsica isn't much bigger. For my part, I made a good start to the flight where I stayed in contact before a big mistake returning from Cima I Mori. I spend 30+ minutes downwind in the Niolu trying to get out. Once done, I resume my flight. Timo took a nice line from the east, into the convergence. When I arrive the sky has already darkened and I head west (Migliarello, Sacallella plateau). It's slow and in the shade, but I still manage to reach the Cuscione plateau. Then return by the same route. I signed my personal record, a beautiful flat triangle of 152km above the most beautiful peaks, the GR20 and the lakes of Corsica.
