Voergaard Castle is one of Denmark’s most stunning Renaissance castles, known for its rich history, beautiful surroundings, and an impressive collection of art and antiques. Voergaard Castle transforms into something straight out of a fairytale during Christmas. Every room glows with holiday charm, and the castle’s centuries-old walls make the decorations feel even more enchanting. From its first record (1481), it is ~ 544 years old (as of 2025). From its Renaissance completion (late 1500s), parts of the castle are ~ 435–445 years old.
