Our travels in our Trek RV through the American Southwest have most recently taken us through Deming, New Mexico, home to the Luna Mimbres Museum, located in the historic Deming Armory. I had heard the museum had an impressive collection, but nothing could have prepared me for the 'Smithsonian of the Southwest'! Within you'll find a treasure trove of ancient pottery, glittering gemstones, and charming toys and effects from the decades and centuries gone by. These include some of the largest collections of Mimbres Pottery and collectible dolls in the world! The ladies of the museum were incredibly welcoming and generous with their time, allowing us to film the museum's magnificent collection, ask them a few questions, and even treated us to a couple stories!
