About 'Undergång': "The song 'Destruction' (Undergång) delves into the catastrophic end of the peasant uprising, majorly instigated by the betrayal of King Gustav Vasa. Notably, while the peasants had decent armament, they were outclassed by the mercenaries in the king's employ. These mercenaries hailed from regions like Germany and Scotland. In August, Dacke, the uprising leader, met his end in Blekinge. After the rebellion was quelled, his severed head became a public display, ominously mounted on a pole at the gallows hill. To further suppress any whispers of another rebellion, Gustav Vasa cruelly incarcerated Dacke's offspring, leaving him to meet a slow and painful end due to starvation."
