Christopher Regan, a Michigan native and military veteran, went missing in October 2015, sparking an intense investigation. Initially, suspicion fell on Kelly and Jason Cochran, a married couple tied to Christopher through a workplace connection. It was revealed that Kelly and Christopher had been having an affair, which led to tensions in the Cochran household. Kelly eventually confessed to her involvement in Christopher's murder. She claimed her husband Jason forced her to fulfill a sinister pact they had made: if infidelity was discovered, the unfaithful partner would kill their lover. On October 14, 2015, Jason ambushed Christopher at their home, shot him, and coerced Kelly into helping dismember and dispose of the body. Months later, in February 2016, Kelly killed Jason, claiming it was revenge for his control and abuse. She administered a lethal dose of drugs before suffocating him. Investigators uncovered Christopher's remains based on Kelly's confession, linking her directly to the crime. In 2017, Kelly was convicted of both murders and sentenced to life without parole. During her imprisonment, she alleged involvement in additional crimes with Jason, though no evidence has substantiated these claims.
