WHO WE ARE Community Memorial Healthcare is a nonprofit, independent health system serving the needs of Ventura County. Established in 2005, we are comprised of two hospitals—Community Memorial Hospital – Ventura and Community Memorial Hospital – Ojai—along with primary and specialty care Health Centers across west Ventura County. As a nonprofit, we are not governed by a corporate or government entity, nor do we answer to distant shareholders. We depend on and answer directly to the communities of Ventura County, ensuring our focus is always on what is best for our patients.
