#20 Teabag Encasing Dried Flowers to Decorate a Tag Creating tags for our junk journals is a delightful activity! For this project, I used two teabags to encase dried hydrangea flowers. I had two pieces of tea-stained paper: one made from a grocery bag and the other from copy paper. Before I glued the tea-stained copy paper on top of the grocery bag paper, the corners were trimmed to give the edges a neat finish. Next, I prepared the dried flowers by coating them with a fluid medium. I then sandwiched the flowers between the two teabags, using the fluid medium as glue. To avoid any bubbles forming, I covered the flowers with parchment paper and placed heavy books on top. After that, I added fiber paste to the tag. Then, I glued on a cross die cut, a word piece, and some lace for decoration. Once everything dried, I stitched around various areas of the tag to complete the look.
