This is a compilation of N64 commercials that ran on American television between 1996 and 2001. Man, remember how much Nintendo's ad campaign started looking like Sega's during later years of the 16-bit era? They certainly didn't stop there, either. Some of these are legit edgy in surprisingly ways, and all of them are hilariously dated thanks to their "attitude" and the way they strive for shock value. A couple of them actually succeed, too. I'm personally a huge fan of the Blitz commercial that blasts an old lady through a grocery store display. And anyone else catch The Sherminator in the Yoshi's Story clip, the notices for Nintendo's AOL keyword, or the clip that Family Guy apparently referred to when thinking up ways to mess with Helen Keller? Which campaign did you like better? "Change the system," or "Get N or get out"? If you didn't live through the late 90s but are curious as to what things might've been like, this collection pretty much sums it up. (Aside from a few clips I've had saved on an old hard drive for years, these were sourced from collections hosted at the Internet Archive.) I've done collections similar to this one for NES and SNES commercials, too. If you'd like to see those, here are the links: NES TV Commercials (1986-1994): • NES TV Commercials (1986-1994) - Nint...
