But the first spontaneous reaction gives a true picture of one’s personality, which is subsequently judged by the Psychologist on completion of the test. The time limit to record one’s reaction is deliberately kept at 15 seconds, so that a candidate is not confused with the subsequent thoughts, and hence gives his first natural response.
