Smoking a Cigar Rolled with GREEN TOBACCO for the First Time.. The “Green Tobacco” I had during this video is called Candela, which is a not-so-commonly found type of cigar leaf that goes through a different curing process than your typical ones. Instead of curing in a barn for 30-45 days, it is instead cured in 2-3, however, the temperature in the barn is boosted up to 165F, locking in the leaf's chlorophyll, making it stay green, instead of turning brown like normal. Pretty interesting stuff, if you ask me, and supposedly it has a different flavor than normal cigar leaf, so I was quite curious to find out how that will be, and what it will be like. In this video, to be precise, I smoked and reviewed, the Alec Bradley Black Market Filthy Hooligan, which is a Barberpole style cigar that was made in Honduras, had a size of 6x50, cost me roughly $14, and contained a Honduran Candela and Nicaraguan wrapper, Sumatra binder, along with Honduran and Panamanian fillers.
