From there, the trail passes through several key stops: Phakding: The first night on the trail. Namche Bazaar: The historic Sherpa capital used for vital acclimatization. Tengboche: Home to the famous monastery with panoramic views of Ama Dablam. Dingboche and Lobuche: The higher altitude sections where the terrain becomes more rugged. Gorak Shep: The final settlement before reaching the base camp at 5364 meters. Trek Safety and Preparation Properly managing altitude is the most important part of any Nepal trek.
