I am about to build a curved-fronted hotel on the corner of two streets on my N Gauge model railway layout, Chandwell. In this episode I show how I used the free drawing application, Inkscape, to get the footprint of the building exactly right. The two streets join each other at an angle of 62 degrees. The hotel's main entrance will be exactly in the middle of the curved part of the hotel's front. The hotel will be longer than the curved part alone. So I needed to take care when designing the hotel's footprint that it all aligned and will fit the space on the layout perfectly. =============================================================== Enjoying Chandwell?
