Ultimate (2018) 13:06 Id (Purpose) (ft. Yū Kobayashi) - Fire Emblem Premium Arrange (2019) ========================================================================= Id (Purpose) is the final map theme for the game Fire Emblem Awakening, released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2012 by Intelligent Systems. It is a final battle track that hints bittersweet tones and motivational surges for the army to save humanity, and the future; a clashing choirs of Grima faithfuls and the cast fighting for the fate of the world. On the 25th Anniversary Concert in 2015, Awakening Medley was a seven (7) minute medley of tracks that composes of Id (Serenity), Id (Sorrow), Id (Dilemma), Id (Hope), and Id (Purpose). Two years after, Fire Emblem Warriors was released for the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS. The final boss theme, This Precious World, is a collectative medley of tracks that featured Medeus' theme, "Don't speak her name!", Id (Purpose), and Lost in Thoughts All Alone. In late 2017, the Cavalry Duo released an album for the Cipher Caravan event, titled Sounds of Fire Emblem from Cipher Festival: Horse and Rider as One, featuring thirteen (13) tracks from different series of Fire Emblem, all performed using only two instruments; a guitar and a piano, the instruments used iconic by the Cavalry Duo. A year later, in late Winter 2018, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was released for the Nintendo Switch, featuring nearing one-thousand (1,000) tracks from the game, and several remixes from different iconic tracks from different game franchises, and one of them was Id (Purpose). The track is the best Fire Emblem remix in the Smash games. And finally, 2019, a few months after Ultimate's release, Fire Emblem Premium Arrange album was released for the Cipher Festival featuring fifteen (15) tracks, four (4) featured as lyrical tracks, and Id (Purpose) was one of them. Yū Kobayashi, the JP VA of Lucina, is the singer for this track, along with Yoshimasa Hosaya, the JP VA of Male Robin, and Grima, which he portrays in this lyrical piece. The lyrics were converted to Japanese compared to the Latin lyrics from the previous two versions of Id (Purpose), and there where we listen to the two clashing to the latter part of the song. And that's about it on Id (Purpose)! If I decided to feature every single track that has the motif of most Id tracks, this would be an HOUR long, though that would be interesting as a future video; but for this video, I'm only featuring all Id (Purpose) versions throughout these past eight (8) years. Thanks so much for watching and listening to the video! I'll be featuring Chapter 2 (Uprising in Agustria) next for the series, and will do a poll here on my Youtube channel afterwards for the next track I'll be featuring. Is my explanation here in the description decent information? Does it look like a tryhard Wikipedia info drop? Is my grammar off here, is my lack of experience doing these showing off or-- whatever. Tune in for the next one!
