WELCOME TO HAM RADIO LIVE On the air: Vitaly – F4WBU, a blind ham radio operator from Nice, France. Yes, you heard that right. I’m trying to reach the whole planet from a normal balcony. No towers. No giant antenna farms. No fancy radio palace in the backyard. Just a balcony, a transceiver, 100 watts, and a stubborn operator. What happens on this stream No editing. No acting. No fake radio. I turn on the rig, say: CQ CQ DX …and we see who answers. Sometimes it's calm.Sometimes a real pile-up starts and stations come from everywhere. Sometimes a signal is barely there and I have to pull the callsign out of pure noise. And sometimes you suddenly hear something and say: “Wait… was that really New Zealand?” A little crazy radio statistics In less than one year from a balcony antenna I already worked: 150+ DXCC countries. Yes. From a balcony. Contacts already include: Australia (long path ~24000 km) New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Indonesia, Brunei, Nepal, South Africa and Namibia Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica Brazil, Paraguay, French Guiana and Suriname, Caribbean islands, USA and Canada And one completely crazy moment: July 4, 2025 — 6 continents in just 3 hours. Balcony.100 watts.Six continents. Sometimes radio propagation is pure magic. My slogan I live by one simple rule: “If they can't hear me — I will go there.” If a country doesn't hear my signal from the balcony, one day I’ll just travel there and activate it. Simple. The DXCC dream Ham radio has the legendary program: DXCC — 340 countries and territories. And yes, I have a crazy goal. Activate all of them. I am blind. But that’s not a reason to sit at home. Actually it’s the opposite. It’s a good reason to prove that if I can do it — others definitely can. Expeditions I already activated Monaco. Next plan: Corsica. And after that? We’ll see where life takes us. Because when you still have your whole life ahead… 340 countries sounds like a perfectly normal plan. What we do on this stream Today we simply let the ionosphere decide. CQ DX DX hunting listening for weak signals working pile-ups and sometimes pure radio chaos. Bands may change depending on propagation. That's part of the game. And sometimes… the whole world. 73! F4WBU – Vitaly Nice, France Station information Power: 100 W Antennas: MFJ-16X series MFJ-1640, MFJ-1620, MFJ-1617, MFJ-1615, MFJ-1612, MFJ-1610
