The victim was pronounced dead on the scene at 337pm. DOT driver remained on the scene. NYPD highway units investigating. A DOT worker was seen transported to hospital via ambulance--unknown if that was the driver. Unconfirmed reports of a decapitation, which might explain another white sheet further up the road covering perhaps the head.
