Kenneth "Kiddo K" Alexander is a Louisiana-born rapper known for his unique sound and hyper-realistic lyrical styling. In 2005, Kiddo and his family became part of the over 700,000 people affected by Hurricane Katrina. At just 9 days old, Kiddo fell ill with pneumonia and lost part of his hearing as a result of being displaced from the disaster. In 2019, Kiddo began posting freestyle videos online, and was able to focus more fully on pursuing a career in music once school became virtual during the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking to real life events, Kiddo's songs weave narratives through the trials and opportunities that have affected his family and community, in the hopes that regardless of background or upbringing, listeners will be able to appreciate his experiences and be connected with him through that.
