OPEN QUALIFYING MEDAL - MINCHINHAMPTON CHERINGTON | Back 9 Part 1 Welcome back to the channel where this week we are on our third leg of Minchinhampton Golf Club and playing the back nine holes of the Cherington Course. What Minchinhampton have to say: If the quality of a course can be determined by its use as a Championship venue, then The Cherington Course passes with flying colours. The newer of the two courses and styled as an inland links, The Cherington is characterised by its vast undulating greens, thick rough and firm, fast fairways. Between 2002 and 2007, The Cherington was proud to host the Open Championship Regional Qualifying and regularly stages other significant events. In this video we have Jordan on the course filming along with myself, Dan's Brother Paul and Lester playing an Open Qualifying format, 9 hole Medal and to 'qualify', the boys need to shoot under par. It was a very early start so it was a bit cooler and the wind was up which really set up this quite challenging back 9.
