Bös Fulen 2802m – the highest mountain in the canton of Schwyz – offers one of the most spectacular and dangerous alpine hikes in Switzerland. Located on the border between Glarus and Schwyz, this exposed alpine tour is only for experienced mountaineers. 🧗‍♂️ Tour Details: 🚗 Start: Linthal (Glarus) 🚠 Access: Funicular to Braunwald, then cable car to Gumen 🏔️ Famous nearby via ferrata routes on Eggstocke ❄️ Terrain: Small glacier, unstable couloir, and razor-sharp exposed ridge ⚠️ Danger: Grade II (UIAA), extreme exposure, risk of falling rocks in the couloir WARNING: This is a highly challenging route – one mistake can be fatal. Only attempt if you are a skilled and well-equipped alpine hiker.
