Through the pages, Sky weaves a legacy quilt from the stories of over 40 individuals, embodying 3000 years of collective life experience. What makes Sky's approach unique is her refusal to sentimentalize aging. Instead, she documents resilience in action – capturing how people navigate life's complexities with grace, humor, and perspective that can only come from decades of living. As a photographer whose work appears in museums worldwide, Sky brings a visual artist's sensibility to her storytelling. Now, as Professor Emeritus after 30 years of teaching, she's dedicated her third act to building bridges between generations through film, writing, teaching, and community.
