Review from one of our guest on Jelajahi Laut who did a 4D3N trip in Komodo. Credits to C&G for the review! Hope to see you again! Komodo National Park is renowned for its rich marine biodiversity. The park is home to more than 1,000 species of fish, 260 species of coral, and various other marine creatures, including sharks, manta rays, turtles, and colorful reef fish. The coral reefs in Komodo are exceptionally well-preserved and offer stunning underwater landscapes. You can witness vibrant coral formations teeming with marine life, creating a visual spectacle for divers. Komodo's diving sites are known for their strong and unpredictable currents. While these currents may pose a challenge, they also attract a diverse range of marine species. Diving in Komodo is often recommended for experienced divers who are comfortable in challenging conditions. One of the highlights of diving in Komodo is the opportunity to dive with majestic manta rays. Manta Point and Manta Alley are popular dive sites where you can observe these graceful creatures gliding through the water. Komodo National Park is famous for its population of Komodo dragons, the largest living lizard species. While diving, you may have a chance to spot these impressive creatures on nearby islands during surface intervals or when exploring the park. Dive Sites: Komodo offers a range of dive sites catering to different experience levels. Some notable sites include Batu Bolong, Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, and Pink Beach. These sites feature stunning coral walls, pinnacles, and underwater rock formations teeming with marine life. To fully experience the diving in Komodo, many divers choose to embark on liveaboard trips. These multi-day boat cruises provide access to remote dive sites and allow you to explore a variety of locations in the national park. Alternatively, there are also dive resorts available on some of the islands in the area.
