Is it effective? Very much so. But oh Traveler, if this isn't one of the most boring metas in a long time. And what's worse, if its components get nerfed during the episode, it's gonna be absolutely terrible in Frontiers, because most of the work is done by the artifact mods giving you health, barricade regen, triple bolt charge damage, weakening, overshields, you name it. It's probably the easiest build available right now for a lot of content, but it's also one of the most boring. As someone who spends most of their time playing Titan or Hunter, I'm willing to say that arc Warlock is more engaging than this snoozefest. That's how boring the "stand in your barricade, win" playstyle is. I wish we'd gotten Season of Plunder era HOIL storm spam instead of this, that was actually fun and engaging.
