Morbelli's work captured the hills of Casale, the rice fields of Vercelli, and mountain landscapes in Santa Caterina Valfurva. Notable awards include the gold medal in Dresden (1897) for "Per Ottanta Centesimi" and "S'avanza," and another at the Paris Universal Exposition (1900) for "Giorno di Festa al Pio Albergo Trivulzio."
