This one definitely leans more on the body hurts part. I played it a few times and mostly relied on memory to piece it together. As it started coming back, I felt a little better, but my body still isn’t quite on the same page. This song really tests your endurance, and revisiting it reminded me how much work it takes to get back to where I used to be. If you’ve ever tried to jump back into something you used to crush, you’ll know exactly what this feels like. Lars Ulrich is actually the reason I picked up drumsticks in the first place. So playing this song again felt like coming full circle, back to where it all started for me.
