Loom & Thread creates music based on samples. The sampler is played as a live instrument and merges with double bass, piano and drums in a unique real-time performance. The band's second album (out early 2026 on macro) is based on saxophone and vibraphone recordings that are atomized and recontextualized through a sampler. This creates a soundscape that initially resembles acoustic instruments but quickly undergoes significant transformations due to the sharp manipulations of the sampler.
