𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗔𝗧 𝟭.𝟱 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗖𝘂𝘁: 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽? After a disappointing first run with the Ontario RAT Model 1.5 in MagnaCut, I decided to give this knife a second chance. The poor factory grind seemed to be the culprit initially, so I completely resharpened it to a fresh 18-degree edge using the WorkSharp Pro Precision system before putting it through our Redneck Cut Tests again. Did the premium MagnaCut steel live up to its reputation this time around? With a proper edge and careful testing, I expected better results - but sometimes knives surprise us, for better or worse.
