I booked a Lake View room, near facilities as part of this trip, directly with Disneyland Paris. We were lucky enough to be allowed to check into our room at 12 when we arrived. Located in the South wing, and at the very end of a long and windy corridor we thought at first, this is not very close, however a bonus awaited us in the room! We were luck to have an end of corridor room which comes with it's own huge balcony. There are only two of these rooms on each wing, of which only one directly faces the lake. This made all the difference to have and we really felt the magic in having this room. In terms of the room itself, there is no denying it is dated. First of, it is clean.. very clean. And the bed is so comfy - no issues sleeping. But the room is old and does need a refresh. Plus sockets are at a minimum - I think we had one spare before having to start unplugging lamps etc. I love the theme - Bambi is very cute and fits the lodge theme very well. The hotel itself is styled to an American National Park Lodge and it beautiful throughout. All public areas are stunning and you can really feel that lodge theming coming through, and I loved walking around outside amongst the hundreds of pine and redwood trees they've planted.
