Started out this journey on the first day of the Islamic New Year, in Morocco, I did not know that was the situation until I 'found myself there'.. (You can take a ferry from Spain to Morocco from several ports, with the shortest and most frequent routes being from Tarifa to Tangier Ville (about 1 hour) and Algeciras to Tangier Med (about 1.5 hours) I took the ferry to Tangier Med. It depends on where you are etc.. but Tangier Ville is downtown. Tangier Med. requires a taxi ride to Tangier Ville, along the beautiful coast. Ferries from Spain to Algeria are available with 2 operators. There are 8 ferry routes. Ferries from Valencia to Mostaganem and Almeria to Oran are popular ferry trips from Spain to Algeria. Sailing frequency can change throughout the year and often sailings increase during peak season. From there onwards to Turkey, then Lebanon.. planning Syria, currently in Indonesia, 'regrouping' a bit an taking care of some work.
