This exhaust set up sounds great, weighs less, has tons of mid range power gains, removes almost ALL the exhaust smell, improves ground clearance, and is super compact. The biggest improvement compared to most other 2GR MR2 exhausts is that it doesn’t have a deceleration buzz/fart in the middle rpm range. This phenomenon seems to come from an unequal length exhaust. This exhaust system is paired with the Frankenstein Motorworks cast headers. The only negative I can come up with is that anytime you are accelerating, there is a bit of drone. Luckily the drone goes away whenever you’re idling or cruising at a constant RPM.
