"Metro 2" or the Credit Reporting Resource Guide is designed to make sure that any reporting on your credit reports is: Accurate Complete and Timely This is NOT the law BUT it is the industry standard and so can be very helpful in getting errors off of your reports and suing the bad guys (furnishers and consumer reporting agencies) when they refuse to fix or delete errors.
