We Talk Guitars, Tone and Gear Thomas Nordegg has worked with everyone from Frank Zappa for over 6 years, Duran Duran for 15 Years, Dweezil Zappa and currently has been with Steve Vai since 1999. He has traveled all over the world supporting legends and helping build their sound. Thomas showed Steve Vai a prototype guitar back in 1999, and the rest is history. Steve asked him if he wanted to participate in building a new signature model and for the past 13 years Thomas has been building a guitar that does it all and more with a signature system he calls Sonica. In this video (Part 1) he shows off his Super "Paul" or Les Paul style guitar with Steinberger tuners, a 14 pin connection out, checkered fingerboard, Sustainiac (Sustainer), and radio frequency wah, and a much more!
