In this episode of Native Report, we explore the power of storytelling and the many ways Native voices continue to connect communities. We begin in northwestern Wisconsin, where WOJB radio has served as a vital lifeline for decades—sharing news, music, and local stories while adapting to changing technology and funding challenges. We then turn to a collective of artists working with All My Relations Gallery, whose performance-based work blends movement, visual design, and a cultural narrative to explore identity, belonging, and shared experience. We listen to Red Cliff Ojibwe elder Rick Smith shares about his memories of powwows before and after the 1978 Indian Religious Freedom Act. Dr. Arne Vainio teaches about Pneumonia. Together, these stories remind us that whether through the airwaves or through art, community voices are strongest when they are shared.
