Sippy. The movie stars Dimple Kapadia, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Rajat Bedi, Suresh Oberoi, Gulshan Grover, Mohan Joshi, and Sharat Saxena. The story unfolds in Bombay, where a call girl named Julie is brutally murdered. Two police inspectors, Anil Sharma (Jackie Shroff) and Rajat Bedi (Rajat Bedi), are assigned to solve the case and bring the culprit to justice. During the investigation, they discover the murderer left the mark "2001" on the victim’s body. Anil suspects a prominent state parliament member, Ramaswami (Sadashiv Amrapurkar), who was connected to Julie. As the investigation progresses, more murders occur, involving individuals like advocate Kajal and a man named Krishna Rao (Gulshan Grover). Ramaswami is later attacked but survives and, while conscious in the hospital, accuses Rajat of being involved.The high-profile nature of the case forces Police Commissioner Malik (Mohan Joshi) to place Rajat under house arrest. Meanwhile, Anil uncovers evidence linking Malik to the murders, while Rajat starts gathering evidence against Anil. The question remains—are police officers behind these murders?
