AYR EXPLOSION: Family in ‘serious condition’ in hospital after home blown apart

TWO adults and two kids are in serious conditions in hospital after a horror house blast in Ayr, police have confirmed. The blast took place at a property in Gorse Park in the Kincaidston area of the town around 7.10pm last night. Emergency crews, including nine fire crews and specialist teams, raced to the suspected gas explosion after the alarm was raised. Following the huge explosion, two adults and two children were rushed to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock. Police this afternoon said a man, 47, woman, 43, and two boys, aged 16 and 11, are in hospital.
