He Kept Having Convulsions, Fighting for His Life....A Miracle Happened!!! Meet Catten — a true fighter with a heart full of courage. Catten was found in a dire state: extremely dehydrated, anemic, temporarily blind, and paralyzed from the neck down. The vets suspected that he had suffered a direct hit at the base of his neck, causing severe neurological symptoms. Despite his condition, we refused to give up and committed to finding the right treatment for him. In the initial days, Catten underwent numerous tests to uncover the cause of his paralysis. He slowly began showing signs of improvement — less dehydration and a bit more movement. His head tremors, once constant, gradually reduced, allowing him to rest better throughout the day. Although he still couldn't move his limbs in coordination, they were no longer stiff and overly extended. To rule out neuro-affecting viruses, a spinal fluid test was suggested. Thankfully, Catten tested negative for FIP, giving us hope. His bloodwork improved tremendously, and day by day, he grew a little stronger. As his condition stabilized, Catten began enjoying the small joys of life. He loved his short fresh-air walks, where he "walked" more and more each day. His playful personality shone through — always eager for neck scratches, churro treats, and basking in the sunlight. He even started eating and drinking on his own when propped up, and he could use the bathroom independently with just a little help changing his pee pads. Every moment with Catten filled our hearts with pride and happiness. Watching him fight to survive and witnessing his remarkable progress reminded us of the power of love and resilience. Today, Catten is cuter than ever, full of life and joy. No matter his disability, he finds happiness in the simplest things, proving that every life is worth fighting for.
