The game relies heavily on the HPRINT command and a custom character set as "tiles" that were designed using a BASIC program called Fontogenic. See the Source Code repository for more details. The sounds are produced using the PLAY command using T255 and L255 note increments. See the Source Code repository for the Python script I developed that converts WAV and MP3 files into the PLAY commands. The BASIC source code for the game uses various techniques to optimize the performance. The game has 6 mazes and 7 bonus fruits. Game play is progressively harder for each maze and the mazes will recycle once they are all cleared. The bonus fruits will stop progressing once the seventh fruit (Bell) is reached, and will remain on the Bell for all subsequent mazes.
