Lake Wörthersee. 18km winter cycle ride with telemetry. Scenic 50 minute indoor cycling workout.

An 18km ride, filmed in winter, taking 50 minutes to cycle along the shores of Lake Wörthersee from Velden to Strandbad in Carinthia (Kärnten), Austria. This ride starts at Velden am Wörthersee and finishes at Strandbad. Velden has a train station and Strandbad is located near to the Klagenfurt West and Krumpendorf train stations, along the same train line. It is an easy ride that travels through scenic villages such as Saag, Töschling, Pörtschach am Wörthersee and Krumpendorf before arriving at Strandbad. This ride was filmed in winter and there are occasional tricky conditions and the odd time where cycle paths couldn't be used. It is a very cycle friendly route with lots of places to stop and rest as well as dedicated free cycle service points with tools and air pumps.
