#270 Post teardown of unknown colour changing lamp, can we fit an ESP8266 module I was given this lamp as the earth pin and been snapped off the power supply which meant it could not be plugged in to a UK mains socket. It needs the earth pin to open the shutters for the live and neutral pins to go in. So here is a quick teardown and to see what the microcontroller is inside and can it be reprogrammed to work with WLED and Home Assistant. Well it could not be done as easily as fitting an ESPO8266 module so that’s what it did.
