WAY TOO MUCH FOOD?! Today we take on a giant barbeque challenge! The bbq platter challenge consisted of smoked brisket, smoked turkey, smoked chicken, smoked ribs, pulled pork and sides of our choices which I chose including southern food classics like coleslaw, cheesy cornbread,& baked beans! But there were other options available like green beans, mac & cheese, etc! We are in Tumwater Washington (Olympia Washington area) for a washington food challenge / kinda seattle food challenge at Flaming pig bbq to try their 55 challenge (based on a high school football number). Contestants have 55 minutes to eat the challenge in order to get the meal for free, failures have to pay to $150 price tag. American barbeque is a famous food known around the world, and with the techniques, woods and meats used it is often replicated but never duplicated. We also had jalapenos, onions and pickles to eat with the meal! this was not texas bbq but had some resemblance and influence from some of Americas best bbq restaurants from kansas city bbq, memphis bbq, carolina bbq, etc!!
