Today I went out exploring Shenzhen and found a place serving Chicken & Duck Rice for only $3.50! The chicken came with a really interesting green sauce that I’d never tried before — fresh, herby, a little spicy, and full of flavour. The duck was juicy, the rice portion was big, and for the price this meal was incredible value. After finishing the meal, I spotted something wrapped in a leaf being sold nearby. I thought it was going to be a dessert… but it definitely wasn’t what I expected at all! Still, I enjoy trying random local snacks, even when I have no idea what they are. From there, I took a long walk along the Shenzhen Bay, enjoying the views and the evening atmosphere. I followed the path all the way to the K11 Mall, where I wandered around and checked out the shops and displays.
