And when we die, when we seem to leave this life, we disappear into that same emptiness again. Into nothingness. And in the middle there seems to be a lot of trouble. Trying to be someone. Trying to do something. Trying to go somewhere. Trying to be special, be remembered, to be original. Trying to achieve certain things in this short time that we seem to have. Things that seem to be meaningful. We try to prove something to ourselves or to others. We try to get whatever we think that we lack. We try to become whole,. We try to find completion. We try to get what we sense perhaps beyond the whole play of being someone. We have a sense that actually there is this underlying emptiness beyond it all. And yet the contrast of being someone living in this life, seems to be so contrasting, paradoxical, strange, painful, confusing and frustrating. Especially when we try to fit these sides together.
